SASSA online SRD R350 online portal for checking status seems inactive, because already millions of people are applying which saw over 5 million people applying just within 5 days signifying on average 1 million applications in a day.

To track your application status online please follow these instructions.
- Follow the link https: sassa gov check status
- When you visit the site it ask for ID number and the telephone number you have used to apply.
- Enter correctly these information in their respective boxes.
- Look down just beneath you will see a button labeled “Submit”
- Click on it to load your application status online for you.
- Status will show if your application for the said month is either pending, approved or declined.
- If approved, you may see the pay dates or no pay dates.
- If declined, it show you the reason why decline.
- If you have a feeling that you are wrongfully declined, you can apply for reconsideration with evidence.
But you are advised to submit your bank account information upfront for quick and convenient payment.
It has to be noted that application status can change anytime so you can check your status at least twice a day.

I’m beginning to think that this is a scam. I applied last year after my uif came to an end but my status says am uif registered, it’s almost 6 months now without any source of income. Am frustrated.
