Introduction
Have you recently applied for the SASSA SRD R350 grant and want to know ot track your status?
Earlier when the application started, the ability to check application status was disabled to reduce the congestion on the servers of sassa online application platform.
At the time, applicants had to call SASSA toll free number 0800601011 to check status.
At the time, those who tried to check their application status online had a failed message.
Later sassa reactivated this and applicants were once again able to check their status online without much difficulty.
The SASSA main website is the best way to check status.
To check SASSA r350 grant application status, you only have to click on this link https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status.
A page will open asking for the applicant’s ID number and the phone number that was used to submit the application.
After that, click on the submit button. The status page will load showing you the months of applications status.
Under each month, there are few drop down list of items detailing the various section of the status.
Status can be pending, decline or approved.
When it is pending, it means your application is successfully submitted and undergoing verification process after which decision will be taken. Sassa take your submitted documents and request information about you from other government agencies such as SARS, UIF, NSFAS, Home Affairs etc.
However, if you are approved then the payment dates will show when you will be paid either Bank account, cash send or post office.
You also have the choice to choose which post office you want to collect your grant and this is for those who want to collect their grants payments from the Post Office.

I apply without ID but I have to check my status with ID what is going on here, if that money not for foreigners why make a such announcement. Covid should also choose those who use ID books.

Mine says approved but no pay date, it’s been 3 weeks now

my name is Thabang I have approve for August and September ,but no date and I don’t know where I suppose to collect the money as I choose Ewallet when I apply
SASSA has asked all ewallet account owners to submit bank account details or else post office for payments

Application status for August and september have been approved according to the sassa website.. Previously my payment option was via Post Office or cash send. I recently added my banking details and received October’s payment into my account.. however.. payments made for August and september still hasn’t been received neither an sms for collection… Advise please.
