SRD GRANT APPLICATION STATUS CHECK ~ INTRODUCTION
For the past few days, it was very difficult to do SRD grant application status check, due to overload of sassa server resources and an attempt to smoothen the payment process of those who have been approved.
At the time, applicants couldn’t check their application status online.
The only way out was to contact sassa on 0800601011 toll free number, and then they will ask for the applicant’s ID number and they would be able to check their status.
But due to huge number of people trying to check status at the same time, the call center was congested leading to some callers call hanging up.
SRD grant application status check online resolved
At the latter part of Monday, SASSA reactivated that module where applicants could check out the srd grant application status on their own without calling SASSA.
Since then many have been able to check their status online with ease. Now most know where and they will be paid, whether their application is pending, approved or declined.
Some have pay dates others too does not have and waiting so that they too can be paid.
Applicants must always bear in mind that, their bank account details or phone numbers for ewallet or Cash Send will go through a verification process.
This might delay the payment process a bit but not for a long time. They just have to be patient. E
If you chose Post Office or you did not choose any payment method at all, then Post office will be your payment method automatically.

Note that you can also use WhatsApp or GovChat or Moya app to check SRD R350 status check 2021. Be sure that, before using WhatsApp or GovChat to Check status, you have applied with these applied with these platform and your reference number generated. The reference code is alphanumeric code which contains alphabet and numbers.
