Payments Currently Ongoing – SASSA SRD R350 Grant Application And Status Check Online

SASSA SRD R350 grant application payments are currently ongoing at various banks and other payments points.

Payments officially started on 25th August 2021 and has continued to this day.

Those who applied and submitted the application along with the banking details are those who have been receiving their payments.

All the banks including Tyme Bank, Capitec Bank, FnB bank, Standard Bank, ABSA bank etc are paid and these beneficiaries can testify to that.

According to SASSA, about 11.5 million applicants who are approved will be paid.

The application goes through a series of processes aiming to verify the submitted information to see in the applicant should be considered for approval.

After approval, the next stage is payment where the applicant’s payment method chosen is also verified especially for bank account owners and Ewallet or Cash Send.

If all is set then payment is issued and date set for payment.

Those who chose Post Office will receive an SMS notification from Post office asking them to go to the post office for collection.

Reports indicate that, SASSA has increased their ability to process applications and payments up to 1.5 million applications in a day.

Which means that more and more people are going to be paid in few days

Some people are asking how they can change their payments method from the default post office to either their personal bank account or ewallet or Cash Send, but truthfully, sassa has disabled that option with the sole aim to help process the application already submitted for August 2021.

The grant will run from August 2021 until March 2022. But it must be noted that, payments start from the month of registration upwards and no arrears will be paid, it is pay as you go.

Applicants are urged to apply as soon as as possible. For instance, if you apply in September 2021, you will not receive August 2021 payments but rather receive payments from September 2021 and upwards.
