In an attempt to make sure applicants are not congested at the various Post office across the country in a bid to collect their SRD R350 grants, Post office in collaboration with the SASSA came up with an idea such that applicants can collect their SRD grant on specific days depending on the last three digits of applicant’s ID number.
But since the post office do not operate on weekends and on holidays, there are no payments on these days.
Moreover, during the first week of the month, these days are dedicated to SASSA regular grants payments so there is no payments at the post office for SRD R350 collections.
