Can I use someone else’s bank account for SRD R350 Grant?
The simple answer is No.
You cannot use someone else’s bank account for SRD R350 Grant Application.
Because all submitted bank accounts will go through a verification process.
Looking at the convenience enjoyed by applicants who used the banks as payment option compared to those using the post office as payment option, some who don’t have bank accounts want to know if they can use someone else’s bank account.
Since last year, SASSA has advised applicants to submit their own bank account to collect the grants.
So the simple answer to the question as to if you can use someone else’s bank account is No.
SASSA will verify each and every applicant’s submitted bank account to see if the account indeed belongs to the applicant.
