SASSA SRD R350 grant applications are now pending for those who have successfully submitted their application.
Unlike the previous SRD R350 Grant, where applicants had to wait for days before they could see their status changing to pending.

When an application is successfully submitted, an SMS notification is sent to the applicants cell phone number used to apply as a proof that the said ID and application ID are part of the active applications being worked on in their database system.
It has to be noted, the notification of successful submission does not mean approval.
When you check your status, you will see that, August 2021 is still pending waiting for approval or denial.
SASSA compares the applicants’ submitted data with other government agencies such as Home Affairs, Treasury, UIF, NSFAS, SASSA’S own database and other relevant database to ascertain if the applicant must be considered for approval.
If approved, the status will now change to approved and with the tbe payment date and the filed date.
If you are using bank account as a payment option, then you are likely to be paid on the same payment date on the status.
Otherwise, you may have to wait before getting paid at the post office.
To check balance/status go to the site https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status and enter your ID number and the phone number used to apply and click on the submit button.

Same here it says uif but since 2017 i was surviving my 2 kids grant. So please Sassa tell us something else.

#SASSA MUST BE FAIR.I am not working then why my status says UIF how come? Sassa stop stressing us unnecessary , the problem is that you relied on my personal bank statement that doesn’t mean I’m employed or you’ve understood the transactions were for what good reason. Sassa you must be fair on unemployed people.
It says that I’m not qualified for this because of uif and I am not working anywhere and I didn’t go to labor offices why

I also applied for r350 sassa declined my application and says I am registered with uif.
Iv apply for 350 since it was approved and I provided my banking details i get the SMS that its active but when i check to my account nothing even today its 10 today of September and the people who apply before me they did received it pls Sassa think about us we can’t struggle to get the job and at the same we struggle to get the 350 what’s happening at Sassa and i did get the SMS that says its active but nothing on my account , even last year they did the same thing who ever is responsible please we are begging they musten play with us , some of us we are not working we are struggle think about us , i don’t knw who’s doing this at Sassa leaving , and my kids are not working also but they didn’t get it they say they are working when we Google that company they talk about they told us its that Sassa is been playing with people they register them so that they can take that money ,and we are bleeding to our gorvement to take further steps with Sassa bcs the systems they are using its not correct at all we are human they musten play with our mind and hopes Sassa should do the rite thing I’m asking please , how can we approved something for the whole month but nothing at all this is too much
Since march 2020 I have not received anything even after my reconsideration appeal was approved and this year it was declined due to uif and I’m not even working, How possible is that if I may ask? Even though I lost home in everything just asking

i lost job in may 2020, i applied uif i got once off payment in july. I applied 350 grant since then I got nothing even nw bcos of uif, SASA do your job properly pls
