SASSA has indicated that they are not currently taking new applications for the SASSA SRD R350 grant.
Couple of days ago we received reports from applicants that, SASSA SRD R350 Unemployment grant is not taking new applications throughout their application channels like : GovChat, WhatsApp, official website : srd.sassa.gov.za etc.
When you visit the official website srd.sassa.gov.za, SASSA has officially placed a notice that indicates they have put on hold new applications and notify potential applicants when it SASSA finally activated.
The application button is currently gray indicating it is deactivated for the mean time. But it will be activated when SASSA finalized the application process. Those who already applied and receiving grants do not need to submit new applications.

Please note that SASSA is not taking new applications for the SRD grant at this time. SASSA will publish the date on which this website will be opened for new applications and reapplications.
SASSA SRD R350 Statement
This comes in the wake of April 2022 SRD R350 grant which is not showing when applicants check their status although we are already in the second week of the month of April.
Some are worried and do not know if the SRD R350 Grant has come to an end.
