You can use any of the following application channels to apply for the grant:
1) Website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za/
2) WhatsApp line on 082 046 8553.
3) USSD Code: *134*7737#. NB – This USSD code is currently not functioning.
*Other application channels will be announced soon.
Application systems will open on Friday, 6 August 2021, from 9am.

Because of problems and inconvenience associated with merchant or retail store payments, SASSA continues to urge applicants to submit their personal banking details.
From January 2023, SASSA SRD R350 Grant has been extended for another one year till March 2024.

How do care givers apply
I applied my mother’s grant in aid and now I’m no longer staying with her there’s another person who take care of her and is the one who get that grant in aid what must I do to be considered for Srd grant because I’m not working and I’m no longer benefit that grant in aid
SASSA have your name in their system as grant in aid, but yiubcan still apply to see

i cant change from post office to bank on sassa srd site. Nobody can open the link how to change my R350 to bank account. Ive searched all the sites and srd sassa doesnt work, I really want to receive my R350 into my choosen bank account not the post office.
