For many applicants trying their best to apply for the reinstated SRD R350 Grant are facing challenges with the USSD code that was earlier provided by SASSA thus *134*7737#.
But since the commencement of the application process, that USSD code has proved to be unreliable.
The main reason why this has become an urgent issue is that, there are more people who does not have access to smartphones or phones with internet access.
USSD Code does not require data or internet access so that those who are using non-smart phones to also apply successfully.
SASSA has assured to reconsider a new USSD code next week to enable such ones the ability to apply.

Please note that the SASSA USSD code that was earlier provided is not working right now. Although SASSA has assured to bring new USSD code or configure the old one.
Currently, as at December 2022 to January 2023, still the USSD code is still not working, and applicants are advised to desist from using any code from unscrupulous people online as that may lead to data theft.
