Have you recently checked your status for September 2021?

We have received countless reports that SASSA has started approving September 2021 SRD R350 Grants and we can confirm that as well.

So if you have not already checked your SRD R350 grants application status, then please you can go and check it right away.

Although most of those approved are with pay dates which is 1st October 2021 , it is believed pay dates for the rest will follow very soon.

The main problem why there is an undue delay in the payments of the grants has to do with flow of funds from the National Treasury.

Because, sassa depends solely on this funds to pay applicants, when the cash is not available thus why we see a lot of applicants being approved but without pay dates.

The funds that are sometimes released to SASSA may not be enough might just be a piecemeal and that is what sometimes results others being paid whilst others are delayed long overdue.

One group of applicants who opted for cash send or ewallet have up to now not paid a rand of any amount.

According to SASSA, they are waiting for the national Treasury to approve, so until the approval comes, no payment for ewallet users. It is just unfortunate, but that is the reality on the ground and SASSA cannot do anything about it either.

It is ironical that grants that was supposedly to be given to people are unemployed and under distress will have to go through a lot of stress before receiving it.
