The Gauteng department has announced the guidelines for the late admission for the Gauteng province.
The late admission will start on Wednesday, 12th January 2022. The requirements for admission still remains as the same.

In a statement released by Gauteng Department of Education, they have acknowledged that they have received a total of 866 appeals from parents who have already submitted their applications since last year and they are working on then to have them resolved.
These applicants who appealed are those who couldn’t get their desired schools for placement. They also rejected alternative schools provided for them.
According to the release, Monday 10th January 2022 was the date for the outcome of the appeals to be communicated to the affected parents.
