If you want to check your SASSA R350 Payday for 2023, please follow the instructions below:
- Login into your SRD R350 account using the link or use Moya App https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
- Enter your ID number and the phone number used to apply.
- Click on the submit button
- Select the month you want to know its payday eg. January 2023
- Click on the for the month to unfold.
- Is it approved, Declined or Pending?
- If approved, look below the approved, you will see paydays and the filed days.
- Payday is the day your bank account will be credited if you are using your personal bank account.
- Filed date indicates SASSA has officially issued payments for you to be paid.
- If declined, you may appeal within 30 days from the date of the decline.
- If pending, wait till there is an outcome.
- If approved without pay dates wait until pay dates are showing.
- If there is something you don’t understand, please contact SASSA on 0800601011 toll-free number.
- Alternatively, you can call SASSA on their toll-free number 0800601011 to check your SRD R350 grants payday for you. Make sure you have your ID number readily available.

- launch the moya app and
- locate the SRD icon under Discovery
- Go to where you are asked to check the application status
- insert your ID NUMBER and the cell phone number used to submit the application
- Click on the submit button
- Choose your preferred month, for instance, August 2022
- Click on it to see the status
- The status will show you if approved with pay dates
- Payday will show when the payment will be made into your bank account or paid at the retail stores

I have been approved from December 2021 – March 2022, but no payment date has been set. April 2022 – June 2022 pending. I can’t open a bank account as I have no money to open one, plus I wouldn’t be able to afford monthly fees. It seems like only those with bank accounts are receiving their Srd grants. I’ve lost hope in all humanity, but holding on with the little hope I have left. Cost of living is astronomical and survival is becoming near impossible.
How much do you need to open a bank account… Ask a friend or family member to lend a help, find out if there is a bank that doesn’t need a minimum balance. Your monthly charges are not that much to forfeit the R350 Grant or you can opt for Merchant Payments from Shoprite or USave P & P shops etc
