For those of you applicants of the SASSA SRD R350 grant payments, who could nit receive or collect their grants from the Post Office since last year have the opportunity now to collect the outstanding grants.
SASSA released a statement a couple of weeks ago (Facebook post here) stressing the need for those who failed to collect their grants to do so at the post by the end of November 2021 (30th November).
Some have even received SMS asking them to collect their grants from the Post Office before 30th November 2021.
It a second chance being given to this affected applicants because the first one was expired since 31st August 2021.

Some applicants have even forgotten of that grants and still have no idea or knowledge of what’s even going on. Yet others who have been declined and never heard anything from SASSA are still in the unknown.
So in case, you read this article, you can spread the message so that in case anyone is part of the list, the person can go to the post office for collection.
When you go to the post office for collection, you only need your ID card or Smart card as identification and the sum of all the outstanding grants will be paid out to you.
When the new deadline is expired, according to SASSA, the funds will be sent back to the National Treasury.

The SRD R350 grant was introduced in April 2020 in the peak of the global pandemic to help people who have lost their source of livelihood to at least get some form of sustenance.
Applicants had to apply electronically, most especially by submitting their ID documents and the verification system will check if the applicant is indeed qualify or not.
Applicants had the choice to choose payments methods such as personal bank account, Post office or Cash Send.
